I began volunteering not long after Grace opened its doors, now living 35 miles away it helps me stay connected to my South Buffalo roots. In the years that I’ve been volunteering, I have watched Grace grow and evolve in positive ways. The staff and volunteers are like family and it continues to be a gratifying experience.

During these difficult times, I think it’s more important than ever to have places like Grace. Being a part of it adds meaning to my life.

Individual Opportunities

At Grace House, there are a multitude of ways you can make a direct impact. There is no minimum requirement of service. Some opportunities include (but are not limited to!):

Guest Chef

You will prepare dinner for our guests.

House Helper

You can help with a variety of tasks, including laundry, light cleaning, answering the phone, visiting with guests, etc.

Shuttle Van Driver

You will drive the Grace minivan to safely transport guests between the hospitals and Grace House. You must have a current Driver’s License and a good driving record.

Group Opportunities

Organize a meaningful day of service for your company, church, or school! Our group volunteer opportunities can be tailored to small and large teams, and can be scheduled for a day and time that work for your group.
