Women Who Care

Women Who Care is an advisory committee that brings together compassionate women leaders from across Western New York who are dedicated to growing and promoting Grace Guest House. Group members visit Grace House quarterly to learn about the organization’s new initiatives, share their feedback and help build community connections to better serve our guests.

We recognize that women often carry the burden of caregiving.

At Grace Guest House, the majority of our guests are women who are either battling a personal illness or caring for a loved one. Women Who Care invites women from across the community to put fresh eyes on our program and contribute ideas to improve our mission. The committee is comprised of 12-15 women leaders from the business, nonprofit, and community sectors.

Members of Women Who Care commit to:

  • Visiting Grace House quarterly. Meetings are held at 8:00 a.m. on the first Thursday of February, May, August, and October.
  • Serving for at least one calendar year. Members may participate for up to three consecutive years.
  • Sharing ideas and helping to build connections that raise awareness and support in the community on behalf of Grace House.

There is no financial requirement to participate.

If you would like to join Women Who Care, please contact Stephanie Lawson (stephanie@graceguesthouse.org).
